2024 marks a significant milestone for Flow Waterjet as it celebrates 50 years of innovation in waterjet technology. This milestone underscores the company’s unwavering commitment to advancing the waterjet industry and delivering state-of-the-art solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity for its customers.

Exhibiting in booth 135002, Flow will provide an immersive and engaging experience for attendees, featuring four live waterjet systems. Among the cutting-edge systems on display will be the debut of the Mach 150. Designed for entry-level users, the Mach 150 features elite technology at a value-focused price point. “The Mach 150 is a no-nonsense, turnkey waterjet solution, well-suited for waterjet beginners looking to scale intelligently,” says Sherick. “It’s built with the same technology found in our more advanced systems, but thoughtfully designed as an entry level option. It’s powerful and economical at the same time.”
Attendees will also experience the enhanced Mach 200c, offering greater flexibility and practical cutting capabilities. Its innovative canted bridge design ensures full work envelope usage, distinguishing it from standard open gantry systems. Combining advanced capabilities with a value-focused approach, the Mach 200c is ideal for fabricators, prototyping, and more, with its multiple configurations.
The flagship Mach 500, known for its superior uptime and productivity, will also be showcased with live cutting demonstrations. This popular Flow waterjet is inspired by in-depth research and user insights and is deemed one of the fastest and most precise waterjets available. Engineered for efficiency and operator ease, this system is tailored for high-volume production.
Additionally, the EchoJet will be featured — a fully enclosed waterjet solution engineered to boost operator efficiency while protecting the environment from water and abrasive.

Since inventing abrasive waterjet technology in 1979, he has secured more than 40 patents, continuing to improve and enhance waterjet technology and system performance.
On September 9, Evan Washington, Senior Application Specialist at Flow, will be giving an educational presentation in room W194-A from 2:15 to 3:10 pm CST on “3D Waterjet Cutting: The Next Dimension.” Attendees are invited to join the IMTS sponsored presentation.
Application Specialists will be on hand throughout the show to answer questions about waterjet technology.
