Flow Launches Innovative Waterjet Cutting System at FABTECH 2011
KENT, Wash., Sept. 22, 2011 – Flow International Corporation will introduce the latest Mach 4 system at FABTECH held in Chicago, IL, at McCormick Place on November 14-17, 2011.
The first public demonstrations of this unique technology will be conducted in Booth 1748. The Mach 4 is the flagship of Flow’s Mach series and the industry’s most advanced waterjet technology.
This newest addition to the Mach 4 line of waterjets offers a variety of features that are unique in the waterjet industry including an expandable modular design, up to 14m (48’) in length, allowing customers to increase the size of the cutting area as their business grows.
The system's exclusive Roller Pinion system provides fast, accurate cutting with zero backlash. The new Mach 4 is ergonomically designed to improve operator convenience and productivity with lighting to enhance work piece visibility, efficient abrasive removal, and easy access to material and parts with full four-sided accessibility. The Mach 4 being shown at FABTECH will combine Flow's HyperJet® pump, rated at 94,000 psi, and Dynamic Waterjet® XD, high-precision flat stock and 3D cutting technology.
