We understand the need to maintain stringent specifications when manufacturing for military components.
In fact, Flow waterjets have been found to cut the most difficult to machine, hard and exotic materials better than any other method.
Manufacturers working with the military are constantly exploring advanced applications for the latest in lightweight, high strength materials. Cutting these exotic materials can pose a serious challenge to traditional methods. However, we do it with ease.
Flow waterjets effortlessly cut through the toughest materials including:
- Super alloys
- Ceramic matrix composites
- Ballistic materials
- And more!
We have various work envelopes from 19" x 39" to 6' x 12', to significant work envelopes up to 80' and our unique 5 Axis advanced systems. Some models including our Mach 3 series are available through the GSA schedule for your convenience!
Low Temp Process
Along with the elimination of secondary finishing, waterjet cutting is a low temp process that doesn't affect heat sensitive materials. The low temperature of the waterjet stream also eliminates the exhaustion of harmful fumes and the need for containment.
Waterjet cutting is a clean process; reducing dust particles and the need for costly air filtration systems. The environmentally sound process also allows the manufacturer to capture excess waste material, pass it through a Flow filtration system and recycle the water back into the process.
Flow's dedication to R&D, commitment to quality, and devotion to reliability has led us to set the standard in waterjet technology, allowing our customers to take the next step in refining their manufacturing efficiency.
